Goddard School Teachers should be fun, creative, energetic, and able to encourage self-expression. Goddard School Teachers have a thorough understanding of the contextual factors that shape early childhood development.
Teacher Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering lessons designed to facilitate students' social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Encouraging self-expression through Inquiry Based Learning, understanding, flexibility, and behavioral reinforcement.
- Tending to students' needs.
- Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to always learning.
Teacher Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year Experience working in an Early Childhood setting.
- 45/90-hour certification Required for infant/toddler
- Associate degree-Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. (Pre School/Pre-K positions)-PreK teachers Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Goddard School Lead Classroom Teachers should have: Prior experience working with young children. Warm, approachable disposition. Excellent problem-solving skills. A passion for early childhood development.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
